Wonderful Women at Christmas

I left full time employment in June 2005 and one of the things I have missed the most is the social side of things - especially the Christmas party.

So I was thrilled to realise there were not one but two Wonderful Women Christmas parties this week. The first one of the week was in London in a bar near Liverpool Street (very convenient for us Norwich #wwmoob ladies) and myself and Retro Chick travelled down together bringing our very yummy train picnic.

ReeRee had chosen a great venue and there were Christmas jumpers, secret Santa gifts and lots of inspiring business women.

ReeRee has blogged about it here.

With a lot to live up to the Norwich wwmoob's met up a few days later at Revolucion de Cuba in Norwich for rum tea pots and a special blend snuff, created just for us by Reginald Spleen

We also had a lucky dip, kindly provided by Retro Chick, and other gifts included some lovely Christmas socks.

The Christmas parties provided an opportunity to let your hair down, meet up with lots of new people and also to make some useful contacts. Although they were both social evenings if you put a group of driven business women in a room together plots will be hatched and there were plenty of collaborations drawn up over the cocktails.
